How do I add an individual candidate to the CRM?
To add a single candidate to your CRM, click on Add Candidates in main menu of the CRM. You will need a first and last name, the candidate's email address, and a resume file. Fill out the form, select a resume file to upload, click Add, and your candidate is added.You can also add individual candidates by forwarding their resumes to the system using Email-to-CRM. How do I add multiple candidates at once (bulk import)?
If you want to bulk upload candidates into the CRM, our team at Recruiting.com would be happy to help. All we need you to do is prepare and send us a CSV file with your candidate information. You can either export this file from your ATS or manually create it.
Preparing the CSV file
A CSV file (Comma Separated Values) file is a plain text file with commas delimiting the fields. The first line of the CSV file is the header, and contains the name of the fields. A sample template CSV file is available to assist you, which you can download from the link in the import section of the CRM.
For Recruiting.com CRM candidate imports, we require the following fields to be present (as per the sample CSV file): *Candidate_Email, *FirstName, *LastName
Additional optional fields are listed below as well as explanations of each field.
Email: Text (Required - Email address must contain @ symbol and domain (.com, .org) to be valid. Candidates will be deduplicated via email address.)
FirstName: Text (Required)
LastName: Text (Required)
ResumeText: Long Text (The body of the resume in HTML format.)
ResumeURL: FilePath (If your resumes are separate files, you can provide a folder of resumes and include the file name in this field. Example: js45678/resume.pdf or 45678_myresume.doc)
Street Address: Text
Zip Code: Integer
Tags: Text (Comma separated list of keywords associated with candidate.)
Hourly Rate: Currency
Salary Comments: Text

SourceID is a unique identifier related to other systems. (Example: If you exported from an ATS, it would be the ID they use to identify each unique person in their system.) We use this data to de-duplicate overlapping imports and to tie information from other systems to the right candidate.
Once you have created your CSV file, you can send it to our Recruiting.com team and we'll do the rest of the work for you.
